A 70-year-old man has pleaded not guilty to the murder of his partner in Rathmines in Dublin over two years ago.

Desmond Duffy, of Summerville Park in Rathmines, denies murdering Desmond Sullivan at the home they shared in May 2016.

He is set to go on trial before a jury at the Central Criminal Court later.
