A 49-year-old man has died following a collision in Co Tyrone.

The head-on collision involving a Toyota Yaris and a Saab Vector on the Dromore Road in Omagh happened shortly after 10pm last night.

The male driver of the Yaris died in hospital.

The 40-year-old female driver of the other car was arrested after being treated for non-life threatening injuries in hospital

PSNI inspectors are appealing for any witnesses to contact them.
