A 23 year old man has been arrested in the midlands in connection with a fatal shooting in Tallaght in Dublin last May.

35 year old Alan O'Neill, a father of two, was gunned down at Kiltalown Road in Tallaght on 27th May and he died in hospital a short time later.

The 23 year old who has been arrested was taken to Tallaght Garda station for questioning.

Two men were detained shortly after the killing.
