A 19-year-old man who was attending Beaumont Hospital suffered stab injuries in the building.
A 29-year-old has been arrested in connection with this incident and is to appear at Swords district court in the morning.

A post mortem is due shortly on the body of a man who was killed at the Oliver Bond flats in Dublin's north inner city in the early hours of this morning.
The incident occurred shortly before 2.45am.
A man, aged 21, received serious stab wounds to his body.
He was taken to St James's Hospital for treatment, but was later pronounced dead.
A post mortem is expected to take place this afternoon.

A man in his 20s was injured in the attack on Temple View Avenue.
Officers had been called to the scene to deal with a public order issue at 1.10am this morning.
The victim was rushed to Beaumont Hospital where he remains in a serious condition.
No arrests have been made and gardaí are asking anyone with information to get in touch with officers at Coolock.
While on Priorswood Road in Dublin 17 a man received non life threatening injuries as a result of being stabbed during a row at about four o'clock this morning.
Gardai are investigating all five incidents and are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
