A gig featuring former Home Alone star Macauley Culkin was abandoned after the audience began throwing plastic beer cups and disrupting the act.

The Manchester Evening News reports that after much abuse, the band finally left the stage after an audience member interrupted Culkin's kazoo solo. The band attempted to return to the stage but the gig was abandoned after a rush on the stage which resulted in a number of people being thrown out of the club.

Culkin, 33, has put acting behind him and is currently touring the UK with The Pizza Underground, who play pizza-themed Velvet Underground songs, including 'I'm Waiting for Delivery Man' and 'All the Pizza Parties.'
