Services on the Luas Red Line in Dublin have re-opend after an earlier disruption. But it is warning that significant delays are expected until midday.

A cyclist was hit by a Luas tram in the city centre earlier on the Red Line at Stephen's Lane just before Heuston Station.

The cyclist was taken to hospital.

Luas says all tickets will be valid on Dublin Bus for the duration of the disruption. It has also apologised for any inconvenience caused.
