Yvonne Connolly recently made headlines when she reverted to her maiden name - Mrs Yvonne Keating while married to Ronan Keating. The pair formally divorced in March, having split in 2011.

The decision sparked a debate online over the tradition of women in Ireland taking their husbands name in marriage, with the main question being if this tradition is still appropriate?
