A father has been found dead near a reservoir after the bodies his twin daughters (13) and their mother were found at a nearby home in Britain.
Officers made the first discoveries on Tuesday after concerns were raised about the welfare of the residents living at a house in Grove Road, Chadwell Heath, east London.
Upon forcing their way in, police found the bodies of the mother, believed to be aged 37, and two daughters, believed to be 13.
The father (45) was missing from the property, but was found dead in the nearby Woodford Reservoir at 8:17am today.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Reporter Martin Brunt said he understood that officers were not looking for anyone else in connection with the deaths.
