Gardaí have seized loaded guns and arrested two men in north Dublin.

It was part of an ongoing investigations relating to organised crime groups operating in the Coolock area.

Gardaí attached to the National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau searched a car in Kilmore at around 4.00am on Tuesday morning.

Two loaded guns, a revolver and a pistol were recovered.

Two men, both aged in their 30s, have been arrested and are being detained under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act.
