Garth Brooks says he is willing to meet Taoiseach Enda Kenny 'and beg' for his concerts to go ahead at Croke Park in Dublin.
The country singer gave a press conference in the US, amid speculation that his Irish concerts may still take place after being cancelled.
It comes as talks aimed at resolving the row are now underway. The negotiations are taking place in Dublin this evening.
The move comes as residents of Croke Park say they are willing to facilitate the gigs.
Brooks says he will do whatever it takes, except cancel on people
Officers of the Croke Park Community and Handball Centre say in the interest of all the Croke Park communities, they are prepared to consider a new direction with a view to facilitating the holding of the concerts.
Meanwhile the Dublin Mayor, who is at the talks, has said he expects a positive outcome from them.
Speaking in Nashville, he said a simple 'Yes' could fix the Croke Park problem.
He also praised the Irish, saying they are the most loving people on the planet and "should not be embarrassed" about the controversy.
Garth Brooks says 'he doesn't have a clue' what happened to get us this far.
