A Limerick man has been killed in a domestic disturbance in the US.
Police received an emergency call in the early hours of yesterday about alleged assault at a house in Panther Creek Court in North Carolina.
The 39-year-old was found with fatal head injuries. He was given emergency medical treatment but died at the scene.

The Davidson County Sheriff's office is investigating the incident.
