A teenage boy has been rushed to hospital after been shot in Limerick city.
The youth (17) was shot in the thigh outside a warehouse on Upper Carey's Road at around 10am.
It is understood he managed to make his way to a nearby green area, where he collapsed.

He was discovered by paramedics and he was treated at the scene.
The boy was transferred by ambulance to University Hospital Limerick, where his condition is believed to be stable.
Gardaí at Roxboro Road are investigating.
