The Taoiseach Enda Kenny has again refused to rule out giving the Revenue Commissioners the task of chasing unpaid water bills.
Mr Kenny refused to give any commitment this afternoon in the Dail, saying the issue would be dealt with next week.
The water charges issue was discussed at Cabinet this morning and dominated leaders' questions in the Dail today.

Earlier, the Public Expenditure Minister Brendan Howlin said it was important to get it right.
Responding to the Sinn Fein leader Gerry Adams, Mr Kenny said all the lingering question marks over Irish Water will be put to bed next week.
