Services have returned on the Luas Red Line after they were suspended across a large portion of the route for over an hour this morning.

Operator Transdev said services were suspended between Belgard and the Point/Connolly due to a technical fault.

It said services were only running between Tallaght and Belgard.

⚠️Red line passengers, please be advised that due to a technical fault there is currently no service running between Belgard and The Point / Connolly. Services are running between Belgard and Tallaght / Saggart only. Luas tickets are valid on Dublin Bus.

Services were returned just over an hour later.

The operator has apologised for any inconvenience.
