Liverpool born, Canadian-bred New Yorker - that's how actress Kim Cattrall describes herself, on Twitter at least.
Today she turns 59, so we're saying 'happy birthday' by looking back on her work so far.
She rose to fame and became a household name for her role as Samantha Jones in the 'Sex and the City' series - not forgetting the films, of course.
The character of Samantha made us do a lot of double-takes of 'Did she actually just say that?!'. But yes, she did - and Catrall did it so well.
She also capitalised on her 'Sex and the City' success on the (even smaller) screen, appearing in TV adverts for Pepsi and Nissan.
But there is more to this English-Canadian actress than meets the eye.
She has played a shop window mannequin, in the 1987 hit 'Mannequin', and a betraying vulcan on 'Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country'.
She adorned the famous ears back in 1991.
And keep an eye out for a familiar face in 1984's 'Police Academy'.
Cattrall is no stranger to the theatre boards, either.
Among her roles are 'Private Lives' on Broadway, and a bit closer to home - in the UK - she took up the roles of Cleopatra in 'Antony & Cleopatra', and Alexandra Del Lago in 'Sweet Bird of Youth'.
Cattrall has not been forgotten in Canada - receiving a star on Canada's Walk of Fame in Toronto in 2009.
But she is no stranger to Ireland, having filmed 'The Tiger's Tail' here in 2006 with Brendan Gleeson.
And Cattrall also attended this year's Jameson Dublin International Film Festival, where she promoted her latest venture, 'Sensitive Skin'.
She spoke to the Pat Kenny Show here on Newstalk about it - and other things - back in March.
And we saved the best till last. Needless to say, there is strong language right from the start.
