A Fingal county councillor has quit Fine Gael and joined Renua, lashing out at the leadership of Enda Kenny.
Dentist Keith Redmond was elected to the local authority in 2014 for Fine Gael.
He previously contested the 2007 general election for the Progressive Democrats.

Renua has yet to select a candidate for the five-seat Dublin-Fingal constituency, leading to speculation that he may be a candidate.
Councillor Redmond says the Renua proposal for a 23% flat rate income tax convinced him to jump ship.
And he also is not happy with the leadership of Fine Gael.
