A man in the US has expressed his frustration at a parking fine - by trying to pay it in pennies.
Justin Greene was handed down the US$25 (€22.42) fine in Pennsylvania - and went to hand in 50 rolls of coins.
But CBS reports officials in Chambersburg told him the payment was not allowed under a federal rule - which deems copper coins 'small change' and not tender for debts greater than 25 cents.
Mr Greene told the Chambersburg Public Opinion: "I just feel the amount was ridiculous. I work too hard for my money and thought it would be fun to get back at someone, inconvenience them like they inconvenienced me".
However it is believed that if Mr Greene paid the fine in larger coin denominations, these would have been accepted as payment.
