The Justice Minister will travel to Dundalk today to meet with members of the Gardaí following the murder of Detective Garda Adrian Donohoe.
Alan Shatter will meet his colleagues after he was shot dead during a raid on the Lordship Credit Union on Friday night.
Minister Shatter says he will meet with the Donohoe family at a more appropriate time.
Book of condolence opens in Dublin
Meanwhile a book of condolence will open at the Mansion House in Dublin this afternoon for Detective Donohoe.
Tributes have been pouring in all weekend for the Detective Garda who was killed during a Credit Union raid in Dundalk.
Gardai now believe a cross border gang is responsible.
