Lawyers in a court in Peru have questioned the story they've been told by two women accused of trying to smuggle cocaine out of the country.
Michaella McCollum from Dungannon Co. Tyrone and Melissa Reid from Glasgow in Scotland claim they were forced to carry the drugs by criminal gangs.
But at a court hearing in Lima this evening prosecutors said their story was "incoherent" and they referred to photos the girls had taken.
Prosecutors say the pictures show the girls - both aged 20 - having fun on the beach and even photos of them with local police officers, at a time when they say they were being held at gunpoint by criminal gangs.
Michaella McCollum and Melissa Reid have now been sent back to prison to await trial - which could take up to three years to be called.
They both deny the charges.
They face a maximum prison sentence of 15 years if convicted, the prosecutor's office said.
The judge asked the girls why they did not ask for help when they had the opportunity at the airport.
The women responded that they were being threatened by "someone anonymous".
