A High Court judge says he’s anxious to progress the extradition case of a man the FBI's described as the largest facilitator of child pornography on the planet.

28 year old Eric Eoin Marques with an address at Mountjoy Square in Dublin is wanted in the United States on charges of advertising and distributing the illicit material.

Eric Eoin Marques is fighting his extradition to the United States where he’s wanted on child pornography charges.

The allegations against him relate to over a hundred websites with violent and graphic child rape images.

The 28 year old is in custody having twice failed to secure bail.
Today his lawyers asked the High Court for a 2 week adjournment.

It was granted but Mr Justice John Edwards said he was anxious for the case to progress because of the fact Eric Marques is not at liberty.
