About the role

Newstalk is currently recruiting for a Senior Broadcast Journalist to join our award-winning News department.

The right candidate will be expected to have an enthusiastic attitude to all aspects of broadcast and digital media - To be considered for this role, you will have had at least two years experience working in a senior editorial role.

The successful candidate will help drive our on-air, digital and network output with special responsibility for sourcing, editing, writing and publishing copy and audio news stories.

You will also prepare, read and present news bulletins across key Newstalk day parts and on the Newstalk Network News service, while also ensuring your published news stories are of the highest quality.

This role will involve working a five-day week across seven days, so you must be flexible in scheduling.
