A train that's virtually invisible to the public, is set to arrive in 2018, thanks to architects in Japan.
And while the vehicle will not be completely invisible, its mirrored surface will gve it a super-reflective exterior, thereby creating a visual illusion by blending it into the natural surroundings.
These 'invisible' trains are expected to cover almost 180km in Japan when they become operational, and what makes this concept even more revolutionary, is that the design can be applied to existing trains.
According to Dezeen magazine, the current exterior will be replaced with semi-transparent and mirrored panels while the traditional boxy shape, will be re-structured to look like a silver bullet.
