Aslan's Billy McGuinness has called for Ireland's Eurovision selection system to be overhauled following Kasey Smith's failure to proceed to the final stages of the competition.

The musician and Eurovision mentor has said that Ireland needs to revert to a panel scenario and get rid of the public vote.

He also touches on his relationship with Linda Martin and whether he'd become a mentor again.
