A Fianna Fail Councillor has accused the Government of running a completely 'inept' campaign on the proposal to reduce the age of candidates eligible to run for President.
Jim O'Callaghan says that there have been no posters, speeches or leaflets from the proposing parties telling us why we should support this proposed amendment.
The forthcoming referendum seeking an amendment to the constitutional requirement that presidential candidates be 35 years of age is taking place in ten days time - the same day as the marriage referendum.
