An Irishman remains in hospital in Spain today, after he was injured in the infamous Pamplona Bull Run festival.

Robert Thackaray suffered injuried to his chest and face when he was caught in a pile-up that injured 23 people.

One man remains in a serious condition in hospital.

Mr. Thackary was attending a stag weekend at the festival - his friends say they didn't realise he was hurt until they finished their run.

His condition is not thought to be life-threatening.
