Tonight’s €17m EuroMillions Jackpot has been won in Ireland.

It is not yet known where the ticket was sold, and the National Lottery is urging all players to check their tickets.

Robert McGee, spokesperson for the National Lottery said it is “some fantastic news for Irish Euromillions players all across the country.”

“We are asking players across the country to check your tickets very, very carefully," he said.

"If you are the winner of this life-changing €17m, you can contact the National Lottery prize-claims team and we will arrange for you to come and collect your prize in the winners’ room whenever you are ready,” he said.

He said the latest win comes nearly a year to the day after €175m was won by a family syndicate in the Naul in North County Dublin.

It’s the first Irish win this year and the 15th since Euromillions began in 2004

The winning numbers are: 24, 26, 32, 43, 46 and the Lucky Stars are 06 and 10.
