Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind is appealing for support, after having to close its waiting list for the second time leaving children with autism waiting up to three years.
Massive over-demand has led to the closure and a new appeal is being made today, to coincide with World Autism Day.
This is the 8th year of the event, which seeks to raise funding and awareness.
