Ireland's oldest person has died at the age of 107.
Clare native Annie Kett was born in 1905.
She passed away at Thorpe's Nursing home in Clarina, Co. Limerick on Sunday.
She celebrated her 107th birthday with family and friends in December.
Grandchildren and great-grandchildren
Family, friends and carers celebrated with birthday cake and best wishes were also received from President Michael D. Higgins.
She was one of 6 children and and emigrated to England in the 1920s to train as a nurse.
However she returned to Co. Clare in the mid-1930s and married in 1937.
Annie Kett is survived by her son and daughter, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
