Gardaí and the Health and Safety Authority have launched two separate investigations following the death of a man at a garage in Co Tipperary last night.
The man - named locally as 66-year-old John Ahern - was killed when the cab of a truck fell on him as he was working underneath it at 8.30 last night in Ballymackeogh, Newport.
A post-mortem exam will be carried out at University Hospital Limerick today.
