Gardai are investigating after 3 members of a family were taken from their home in Co. Wicklow and attacked last night.

A number of men entered a house at Father Redmond Park in Arklow at about 10pm.

They took the 3 people hostage and drove them to Wexford in a stolen vehicle.

An investigation into the incident is underway.
