Irish coffee chain Insomnia is to expand into the British market as part of a new deal.
The partnership with retailer Debenhams will see the coffee company open a number of outlets across the UK and Ireland over the coming months.
The first of these 'Insomnia @ Debenhams' has launched in the Mahon Point Shopping Centre in Cork.
There are also plans to expand into Debenhams' UK stores with Insomnia outlets in Rugby and Bradford.
"We're very proud to announce this new partnership with Debenhams which will see us open our first UK outlets later this summer," said chairman of Insomnia, Bobby Kerr.
"As a market leader with an exciting portfolio of lifestyle brands, Debenhams is a natural home for Insomnia. The cosy seating and relaxed atmosphere of our stores will offer tired customers the chance to properly unwind with a cup of our finest premium coffee after a hard day’s shopping," he added.
Debenhams UK director of space planning, Mark Jordan, added: "We are delighted to be working with Insomnia Coffee on a further rollout into two UK stores."
Insomnia opened its first outlet in a Galway bookstore in 1997.
It now operates more than 90 coffee shops across high streets and through partnerships.
