There has been a mixed start to April on the weather front, which was in evidence on Saturday as snow was seen in a number of different places around Ireland.
From Limerick to Donegal, there were a number of people taking to social media with a flurry of posts to report that there had been snowfall overnight.

By contrast, the weather on the south east coast was very different, as a beautiful sunrise in Waterford greeted people this morning.
