On The Picture Show this week:
Russell Crowe joined Philip on the Picture Show tonight to talk about his directing debut on upcoming movie The Water Diviner. He also discusses his working relationship with director Ridley Scott. “If I was only allowed to be on one directors film set I would pick Ridley”.

The Water Diviner, a historical fictional drama based on the book of the same name by Andrew Anastasios and Dr Meaghan Wilson-Anastasios, sees Crowe play the role of an Irish-Australian farmer Joshua Connor. Set in 1919, Crowe’s character travels to Turkey to look for the bodies of his three sons who he believes to have been killed during the battle of Gallipoli. However once in Istanbul he finds evidence that one might still be alive.
The Water Diviner is due for release in Ireland on April 3rd.
