Jodie Beverly Hackett said she was travelling from Galway to Dublin when a driver made her get off at Athlone, Co Westmeath.
According to the Irish Mirror today, the young mother was left stranded after being thrown off Bus Eireann coach for talking.
Jodie spoke to Newstalk Lunchtime today about the incident and stated that she had taken two phone calls over the course of the bus journey.
She told presenter Jonathan Healy that the driver asked her to leave the bus in Athlone without informing her of any alternative travel arrangements.
"They put me off the bus and I begged and pleaded at the station, I cried as onlookers looked at me. I said, I've a child at home and he's actually not well at the moment.
"I left because my mother rang me who said my son, who is 6, was getting sick, he was vomiting."
