Just because it's winter, that doesn't mean you should resign yourself to the fact you're going to get sick. The Flu Shot smoothie will give your immune a boost, and hopefully keep any nasty sickness at bay.

What you'll need:

  • Half cup Greek yoghurt
  • Handful of almonds
  • Half cup broccoli
  • Half cup strawberries
  • One cup chilled green tea
  • Teaspoon cinnamon
  • Manuka honey (to taste)

Green tea has been shown to fight viruses causing the common cold.

Cinnamon increases your metabolism rate and lowers blood sugar levels, preventing cravings.

Manuka honey is high in antibacterial levels that help fight infections like sore throat.

Almonds is a great source of protein that will keep you feeling fuller for longer.
