Yet another Health Service Executive-run facility has been cricitised by HIQA over inadequate toilet facilities and lack of privacy for residents.

Inspectors visited St Joseph's Community Hospital in Millstreet, Co Cork in March.

It found toilets in the nursing home, which cares for 22 residents, could not be closed properly.

It also found that beds were so close to each other that residents had little privacy.

The inspection found the premises was not in a good state of repair.
