White House contender Hillary Clinton has denied misleading the public about the deaths of four Americans in Libya during a heated congressional hearing that lasted for more than 11 hours.
The attack on the US consulate in Benghazi happened in 2012 when she was Secretary of State.
She began her testimony to the House Select Committee on Benghazi with an opening statement that focused on the lives of four Americans killed in the September 2012 attacks.

In response to criticism of her campaign in Libya, Mrs Clinton said the 2011 military campaign to topple Muammar Gaddafi had helped prevent "genocide".
