A wind warning remains in place this morning as Storm Abigail sweeps the country.
The yellow weather alert will remain in place until at least 9 o'clock tonight with winds expected to reach 90 kilometres per hour in some parts.
Yesterday some flights leaving Dublin airport were cancelled as a result of the strong winds and some ferries were also affected.
