Gardaí are expected to be out in force at the removal mass today of a man shot dead at a wedding.
Security chiefs fear the funeral service for Barney McGinley (63) could spark another outbreak of violence.
He was gunned down as a young couple prepared to get married at St Mary's Catholic church in Fermanagh on Wednesday.
Mr Mc Ginley was one of two men shot - the other man's injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Detectives think the person who fired the shots that killed Mr McGinley was at one time close to his family.
Those involved are members of the travelling community.
There have been no arrests yet over the killing, which means the suspect or suspects are still at large.
With that in mind, gardaí have confirmed they are mounting a high level security operation for the removal.
The focus will shift from Fermanagh however - as the mass for Mr McGinley will take place in Athlone.
The funeral will also be held there on Monday.
