Gardai are appealing for the public’s help in finding three valuable paintings stolen in a Wicklow burglary last week.
Last Wednesday night, October 22, burglars stole the three artworks during a burglary at a house in Donard, Co. Wicklow.
The stolen paintings are:
Portrait of a Lady, by Sir John Lavery (65cmx30cm approx); Landscape with Cottage, by Paul Henry (40cmx50cm approx); The Fern in the Area, by Jack B. Yeats (40cmx50cm approx).
The scene of the burglary was preserved and a technical examination was completed. The investigation is ongoing and there have been no arrests to date.
