The family of Ibrahim Halawa are taking their fight for his freedom to Brussels where they will plead with MEPs for their help.

Dublin teenager Ibrahim has been held in an Egyptian jail since his arrest at a protest in Cairo over two years ago.

His trial has been repeatedly postponed and human rights groups say they fear for his safety.

Ibrahim's ninth scheduled court appearance was called off earlier this month when two of the defendants failed to appear for the mass trial.
