The victim of the latest Dublin shooting has told Gardai he was attacked by two men on a motorbike as he sat in his car on Sheriff Street.
It happened at around 9:15pm last night and he somehow managed to drive himself to Store Street Garda Station.
He is now being treated for a gunshot wound to the head and Gardai are examining a motorbike found near where he was shot.
The man who is in his 30s drove himself to Store Street Garda Station after the incident last night. He was taken to the Mater Hospital where his condition is described as serious but stable.
It is understood the man is known to Gardai. A number of roads had been closed off for a time to facilitate a forensic examination.
He was shot at Seville Place in the North inner-city. Superintendent Sean Ward outlines his movements after the shooting.
