Two men have been arrested after gardaí seized guns, silencers, ammunition and drugs at a house in Dublin.

Officers made the find at a home on Deansrath Avenue, Clondalkin, Dublin 22 last night.

As part of a planned operation, gardaí carried out a search of the house at 8.30 pm.

They found two 9mm pistols, two silencers and a quantity of ammunition, along with cocaine with a street value of about €6,500.

The two men arrested are aged in their 20s and 30s.

They are being held under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act, 1939 at Ronanstown and Lucan garda stations.
