Dublin's Guinness Storehouse has been shortlisted as the leading tourist attraction in Europe.
Hailed as 'the Oscars of the travel industry,' the World Travel Awards are widely seen as the ultimate travel accolade.
The Guinness Storehouse is Ireland's first attraction to be shortlisted for the award.
Other historic and famous attractions also listed on the shortlist include the Acropolis in Athens, Buckingham Palace in London, Barcelona's La Sagrada Familia, the Roman Coliseum in Rome and the Eiffel Tower in Paris.
Paul Carty, managing director at the Guinness Storehouse said: "The team in Guinness Storehouse works extremely hard to push the boundaries of industry excellence. We would be delighted if the people of Ireland could help us claim the ultimate accolade by voting Guinness Storehouse as Europe's leading tourist attraction".
The awards will be held in Forte Village, Sardinia on September 5th, with voting closing on July 26th.
Since opening its doors in 2000, the Guinness Storehouse has welcomed more than 13 million visitors to date.
It has been named as Ireland's top tourist attraction for two years running.
