The Garda Ombudsman is investigating the death of a man in his 20s while in custody at Dublin Airport today.
The incident occurred early in the afternoon in Terminal 2, and was referred to GSOC by the Garda Síochána at about 2.30pm.

He had been refused permission to pass the customs check in the airport.
GSOC investigators are at the scene.
A full, independent investigation will be carried out to establish the facts of the situation.
