A wedding ceremony in Queensland, Australia came to an unexpected halt on Monday as a nearby boat capsized, leaving a fisherman struggling to stay afloat.

The Cairns Post reports that the wedding party were posing for photos when the videographer noticed the boat flip in the background.

Reacting quickly, the two groomsmen, Dougal 'Doogs' Grey and Clayton 'Deani' Deane, immediately jumped into action. Stripping off their tuxedos, they sprinted down the beach, dove into the ocean, and were able to bring the fisherman and his boat to safety.

Speaking to the paper, bride Jo-Anne Easterbrook said:

“It was just an extra story to add, we had a few hiccups leading up to the wedding... It was one we definitely had a good laugh about at the reception.”
