The Greek government has ordered banks to re-open on Monday after being closed for three weeks.

They were shut to prevent a flood of withdrawals which could have triggered the collapse of the country's financial system.

Instead of the current daily withdrawal limit of €60, account holders will now be subject to a weekly limit of €420.

It follows a cabinet reshuffle by Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras to remove members of his party opposed to a bailout deal agreed earlier this week.

Restrictions of transfers abroad and other controls remain in place however.
