150 jobs have been announced at two companies.

The first 100 are at TTM healthcare recruitment, while Danone is hiring another 50 at its facility in Wexford.

Today's announcement concludes a 180 million euro expansion programme at the company's operations in Macroom and Wexford over the past four years which is supported by Enterprise Ireland.

Minister for Jobs, Richard Bruton, will attend the official opening of the facility later this morning.

By the end of this year employment will have increased at Danone in Ireland from 180 to over 400 people including the additional 50 jobs being announced today.

TTM is investing 5 million euro in its business, and most of the new jobs will be based at its facility in Ennis County Clare.
