Gardaí believe up to ten teenagers may have been involved in an attack that left a man in critical condition on Sunday night.

The 29-year-old suffered serious head injuries in the attack at a Luas stop in George’s Dock shortly before 9pm on Sunday.

It is believed his e-scooter was stolen after the attack.

This morning, The Irish Independent reports the man was approached by a group of teenagers before he was set upon.

The paper said the youths were between 15 and 18-years-old with two of them believed to be the main attackers.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone with any information on the attack to contact them.

They are particularly interested in talking to anyone who was in the Georges Dock/Irish Financial Services Centre (IFSC) area between 7pm and 9:30pm on Sunday.

A technical examination of the scene was carried out yesterday morning.
