Gardaí in Galway have seized cannabis plants worth an estimated €2.5 million.
The 3,000 plants were found this morning during a planned search of a business premises in the Tuam area.
The search was carried out by officers from Operation Nitrogen which is specifically targeting cannabis growing operations.

Two men, aged in their mid 40s and early 50s, are now being held at Mill Street Garda Station.
